KHAYAT — Framed Persian Textile Object

KHAYAT draws inspiration from the forgotten atmosphere of traditional Persian tailoring ateliers — intimate spaces filled with fabric, ornament, patience, and handcraft.

Composed of vintage-inspired tailoring tools, embroidered textile fragments, decorative metal elements, and an antique iron, the object reconstructs the visual memory of handmade labor and domestic craftsmanship. Framed as a collectible wall piece, it transforms ordinary utilitarian objects into a contemporary narrative of material culture.

The layered composition reflects traces of Persian textile traditions, feminine craftsmanship, and the quiet dignity of handmade process. Each element is intentionally arranged to preserve the emotional texture of objects once deeply present in everyday life.
