The camels and the camel driver were cut using a coping saw, and the wood within their outlines was removed, leaving these areas hollow. The inner edges were then blackened. The shadows were created by carefully scorching the surface of the wood.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis artwork incorporates only a single solid piece of alder wood, along with a small amount of bitter orange wood.
